PHOTOGRAPHER AS VISUAL ARTIST

Caroline Mueller, Award-Winning Portrait & Location Photographer of Dallas, Texas, enjoys using a camera to tell a story. Her Photography has taken her to the four corners of the world where she has found herself at home in some of the earth’s most beautiful settings. Mueller considers her Photography to be her Personal Visual Art as she brings her own energy and enthusiasm to every shoot. With her Photojournalistic background, Dallas Photographer Mueller specializes in Natural, Organic, Unique and Artistic Fine Art Images. Shooting in both Digital and Film in multiple formats, Mueller has years of experience in Photojournalism, with grounding in the Fine Art of Studied Photography under some of the world’s best photographers. Mueller’s passion for Photography is evident and reflected in her original and inspiring work.

In 2003, Mueller received her BFA in Studio Art with a Concentration in Photography from The Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Mueller was inspired by photographers whose works she studied in depth: Michael Kenna, Steve McCurry, Ansel Adams (friend and mentor of her Photography Professor, Charles DeBus), Albert Renger-Patzsch, and also by her father (and first teacher), beloved physician to many, the late Herbert Clem Mueller, M.D, whose joy, faith, and love of life and family helped shape her passion for life, people, visual art and photography.

Mueller’s passion is primarily to glorify the Creator for His beautiful Creation and everything in it. Inspired by the powerfully spontaneous “ahh” moment, Mueller has photographed memorable pieces on everything from the Baobab trees of the Africa Bush, to the verdant valleys of New Zealand’s sheep pastures…. to the water passages of Puerto Belen on the Amazon River… to the rugged ice terrain of Franz Josef Glacier… to from the expansive deserted beaches and coastline of Punakaiki… to the Festival of Lights Butterfly Dancers… to 21 century Contemporary Artists’ Album Covers… to internationally launched magazine covers featuring the leaders of tomorrow -- Mueller’s uncommon ability can be easily recognized. Mueller considers every place she visits to be her workshop. She has spent time photographing people, landscapes, nature and events in various locations, such as: New Zealand, Africa, South America, Europe, as well as in the cities, seascapes and countryside of Mexico and the United States.
